Outpatient Therapists and Physicians
Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and other Mental Health Providers
Last Updated July 19, 2018
Below are websites of psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers. They are listed in alphabetical order. The list is not all-inclusive, but includes places our patients have used. We do not endorse one provider over another. It can be a very personal choice and we encourage you to research your options and choose the best fit for your family. Look at your insurance list of preferred providers and see how they cover non-preferred providers if you think a non-covered provider might be the best choice for your child due to location, availability, treatments offered, and/or personal choice.
This is provided for your information only and does not constitute a referral or recommendation.
You will need a social worker, therapist, or psychologist for counseling or behavioral therapy.
If you need someone who can prescribe medications for mental health issues, you will need a physician (pediatrician or psychiatrist) or nurse practitioner.
Our pediatricians do prescribe medications for many of these issues, but sometimes need help from specialists for the therapy aspect or for medications in difficult to manage situations.
